Change author in Eclipse

Usually Eclipse uses your login alias as default in the @Author-tag in Java. You can change this by altering the values stored at

Window -> Preferences -> Java -> Code Style -> Code Templates -> Comments – >Types -> Edit

Window -> Preferences -> Java -> Editor -> Templates -> @author -> Edit

and change the  ${user} variable to whatever you like in both menus. It’s not a pretty way, hardcoding the values – but it’s universal and it works!

How to clone a repo from BitBucket

Navigate to the work dir.

Clone the repo to the current work dir.

How to get started with an empty repo on BitBucket

Navigate to the work dir.

Use init to create a .git-file in the dir.

Add the online repository to the dir.

Create a README-file, or just anyting you could push to the repo.
The status command will show you which files that isn’t in sync with the repo.

Now add the file to the repo. This will add the file to the “upload queue” and let you write a small message that tell you and others what’s changed.

And now it’s time to commit the file to the online repo. This will upload all the commited files to the BitBucket-repo.
